1. Overview & Commitment

At Vaeto Technologies Private Limited ("Vaeto", "we", "our"), we prioritize the confidentiality and integrity of your data. This Privacy Policy details how we collect, process, and protect personal and enterprise security data when you use our cybersecurity assessment platform, Virtual CSO (vCSO) services, and penetration testing solutions.

2. Information Collection & Usage

We only collect data necessary to provide and execute high-precision security assessments:

  • Account Information: Work email address, full name, phone number, and organization details when requesting cybersecurity audits or demos.
  • Target Assessment Metadata: Domain names, public IP ranges, and API endpoints explicitly specified by your authorized administrators for testing.
  • Security Telemetry & Findings: Vulnerability scan data, system configuration reviews, and pentest artifacts generated during authorized engagements.

3. Data Protection & Compliance (DPDPA & GDPR)

Vaeto strictly complies with global data privacy frameworks including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA) and EU GDPR:

  • Zero Data Monetization: We never sell, rent, or trade customer security data or vulnerability reports to third parties.
  • AES-256 Encryption: All security reports and customer telemetry are encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.3).
  • Data Retention & Deletion: Scan targets and pentest artifacts are automatically purged 30 days after engagement completion unless continuous monitoring is active.

4. Information Security & ISO 27001 Controls

Our internal operations are ISO 27001 certified and SOC 2 Type II audited. Access to vulnerability data is restricted strictly to security engineers bound by non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) and multi-factor authentication (MFA).
